Research Assistant
Jenalyn Ormita (she/her) is a third-year psychology student at Mount Royal University with a minor in women and gender studies. She aspires to contribute to social psychology by researching group dynamics, racial bias, stereotyping, and discrimination. Jenalyn currently holds multiple research assistant roles at Mount Royal University, The Immigrant Education Society, and the University of Calgary, where she assists Dr. Duhaney on various projects.
Driven by the complex nature of human beings and social justice issues, Jenalyn aims to contribute her research abilities and skills to Dr. Duhaney's investigations regarding trauma, violence, and anti-Black racism. Outside of her student and research assistant roles, Jenalyn enjoys dancing, taking extra online courses, and spending time with her family.
